Borusan Quartetthat is established by Prof. Gürer Aykal in 2005 and drew attention with tours in Turkey and also abroad among season concerts join music festivals that Rheingau, Schleswig-Holstein, Merano, Mozart, Napfilon, Bodensee, West Cork, Europalia, Mersin, Bodrum, İstanbul and Ankara; gave concerts in various cities of Europe and United States. Borusan Quartet was the prize winner of Andante Magazines “Chamber Music Band of the Year” in 2010 and was awarded with a golden medal in ICMEC International Chamber Music Band competition. Saygun, Aykal, Erkin CD’s that gains big appreciation was released in 2013 by Lila Music, Schumanns’s Piano Cinque that was recorded with İdil Biret in 2014 by Naxos, Mozart & Verdi in 2016 by Lila Music, and latest release was published with Company de Onyx label in 2017 September. Borusan Quartet has a wide repertoire from classic era to modern era.
