Littoral, by Lebanese play writer Wajdi Mouawad as the man of resisting the omission and ignorance of the past, is about a son of a family that migrated to the West due to the war, and him bringing his father to their home country to burry and looking for a place for burying.
You will be the witnesses of a son unable to find a place to bury his father in the hell of wars, genocides and exiles of 21st century and him meeting important figures of theater and literature such as Oidipus, Hamlet, Myshkin, Antigone during this journey. This character travelling around the history of humanity takes the audience with him during his adventure knitted with concepts including “exile”, “victim”, “immigration”, “violence” and “laughter”. Littoral, directed by Kemal Aydoğan, invites the theater lovers to enjoy and think at the same time in ENKA Auditorium on Tuesday, April 2.
